Juanita Leonard was one of 13 children, she was born near the small town of Monroe, Louisiana but is currently living in Shreveport. She has been painting since the age of 17. Her work is highly colorful and energetic, mostly depicting people actively working and playing. She credits god with all that is good in her life.
